Alex is a Board Member (Observer) of Siklu Inc. (siklu.com), a company that invented all-silicon radio and started a revolution: prices were sliced by 90% and more, devices shrunk in size, performance skyrocketed – and a market was born.
Alex is a Board Director of Zeek (zeek.me), a company that created the gift vouchers market place providing a solutuion to over $100B of unused gift cards globally.
Prior to establishing Scale-Up VC, Alex led the Israeli investment activities of a multi-billion dollar fund Rusnano.

Rami Kasterstein has over 25 years of global Hi-Tech experience with several successful startup companies both as investor and as an executive.
Rami started his career in the early 1990s with Aladdin Knowledge Systems, a world leading Security company, who was one of the first Israeli companies to be listed on NASDAQ. Rami served as Chief Technology Officer and VP R&D and managed all the company’s products. Rami also founded and was CEO of AladdinSoft, an Aladdin subsidiary pioneering online banking, that was acquired 3 years later after inception.
Between 2000 and 2006 Rami was partner at Star Ventures, a global $1B venture fund, where he made several successful investment in Israel and in the US. Among those investments are Identify (acquired by BMC), Topio (acquired by NetApp), Broadbus (acquired by Motorolla), Acopia (acquired by F5) and GrooveMobile (acquired LiveWire). At Star, Rami worked in tandem and built strong relations with many world top VCs and entrepreneurs.
Rami has been involved as founder, private investor and executive in several startups, including RayV (acquired by Yahoo) and NeoCraft, a startup targeted to revolutionize Digital Music Instruments, where he also served as CEO.
In 2010, Rami co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of DoAT Media, a company pioneered contextual technologies for mobile devices.
Rami holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute, Israel.
